The Loire 210 was developed around 1933, and made its first flight in March 1935. The fuselage was very similar to the Loire 46, Loire’s gull-wing monoplane, but the main wing was changed to a foldable low wing for easier storage aboard aircraft carriers. Twenty of this aircraft were ordered by the French Navy in March 1937. They began operation in August 1939, but after three months, five aircraft were lost due to an accident caused by a structural defect in the main wing. As a result, the remaining aircraft were not used.
This resin kit features photo-etched parts, white metal parts, transparent film for the instrument panel and two types of decals.
