This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Hasegawa continues their Ju88 family with the Junkers Ju188A/E, featuring the characteristic egg-shaped canopy! Includes all-new nose, wingtip and aileron parts specifically for the Ju188, plus both BMW and JuMo engines so that either a JuMo-powered A model or a BMW-powered E model can be built. Other options catered for are MG131 and MG151/20 upper turrets, or a blanking plate for a turretless version. Also, a nose glazing with blanked-off nose gun opening is included (but marked “not for use”) for those who wish to model one of the Ju188s that did not have a nose gun mounted. Decal markings are provided for the mottled KG66 Ju188E pictured, as well as a KG66 “pathfinder” Ju188E in “squiggle” camouflage and a Ju188A in standard RLM 65/70/71 camouflage
