1/72 Spitfire Mk.IXc Late Version Profipack

Eduard brings us another finely detailed Spitfire in 1/72nd scale as part of their 72nd Scale Revolution! This time its the Mk.IXc late version in a Profipack! When the new German FW-190A fighter appeared on the scene in 1941, the British didnt have anything capable of going up and surviving against the new fighter. With its powerful Merlin 61 engine and based on the light Mk.Vc airframe, the Mk.IXc finally gave the British a fighter that could compete.

Parts come molded int grey plastic with finely scribed panel lines and clear for the canopy. As usual for Profipack editions, this kit comes with photo-etched metal detail parts, die-cut masking seals and decals to build one of six marking options.
