The Gordon is a double-seat daytime bomber designed and manufactured by Fairey in the United Kingdom. Completed in 1931, the prototype, called the Fairey IIIF Mk.V flew for the first time that year. The engine was changed from the water-cooled Napier Lion engine of the IIIF to the Armstrong Siddeley Panther IIA air-cooled radial 14-cylinder engine, and 185 aircraft were delivered to the British Air Force. It was also exported to Brazil and Egypt.
