This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/72 scale SP-5B Marlin kit with decals to mark it as either of two aircraft of VP-48 “Boomerangers”: a Sharkmouthed (!) white over engine gray scheme, or a later white over light gull gray scheme.
This is an older kit, featuring delicate raised panel lines and rivets, with recessed lines for control surfaces and hatches, and a “bare essentials” cockpit with no other internal detail. Still, it is the only Marlin kit available, looks like it will build pretty easily, and will make an impressive addition to your collection with a length of 43 cm (17 inches) and a 50 cm wingspan (almost 20 inches). And the price is pretty reasonable as well!
