Mikro Mir’s brand AMP brings us a completely new-mold model kit of the Bendix Model J! The Bendix Model J was a helicopter equipped with a double-reversing rotor that was developed for the U.S. Navy by Bendix Aviation of the United States, and made its first flight in 1946. The double-reversing rotor of this machine has the advantage that the counter torque can be offset by each rotor. The Model J was equipped with a 450hp R985 Wasp Junior engine, and was capable of a maximum speed of 177km/h with four crew members, but the plan was completed without any orders being placed by the Navy.
