This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
From the Hasegawa website:
Kawasaki Ki-61s were a clear departure from the standard Japanese aircraft of World War II. Where other Japanese aircraft used radial engines, the Ki-61 was powered by and inline V engine license built on a Daimler-Benz design. Additionally, it featured more armor, heavier guns, and self-sealing fuel tanks-features mostly lacking on Japanese aircraft of the time. American forces were keen to get their hands on these unorthodox aircraft for testing and evaluation. This model represents one such captured fighter. Kit features two sets of decals.
Parts come molded in gray. Includes clear parts and decals. When completed, this model kit measures about 186mm long and has a wing span of about 250mm.
