Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Warhawk kit with new vertical stabilizer parts and decals to mark it as a P-40K Warhawk used in the China-Burma-India Campaign. Decals are included for two aircraft: Maj. Edward Nollmeyer’s dark Green and Earth aircraft of the 26th FS, 51st FG in China, 1943 (with the uncommon red-bordered US Stars and Bars used briefly that year) and “Jinx” of the 25th FS, 51st FG in India, 1944. The color call-out for “Jinx” is very unusual; gunship gray over gull gray. Hardly what one would expect of a US aircraft in 1944. See box photo or art for marking details.
