A model of the Sanka Mk. B from the animated film “The Sky Crawlers.” The aircraft in this film were designed to represent the ultimate in propeller aircraft development, so the strong resemblance of this fictional aircraft to the Kyushu J7W Shinden is probably anything but coincidental. This 1/48-scale kit features a very high level of detail, ingenious geared contra-rotating propellers, optional extended or retracted in-flight refueling probe, and a two-piece canopy that can be posed open to better display the cockpit. Glue and paint are required for completion.
