This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
From the manufacturer:
The Royal Navy used both Seafires and Hooked Spitfires since the beginning of 1942 but all these aircraft had fixed wings and therefore were limited in their use aboard aircraft carriers. In spring 1942, the development of the folding wing mechanism began. The test bed was a Seafire Mk.II. It took off for the first time on November 9, 1943, with the folding mechanism already installed, and then approved for series production. The aircraft was later produced by the Westland and Cunliffe-Oven companies under the designation Supermarine Type 358 Seafire Mk.III.
This kit contains parts molded in gray plastic and includes decals, masks, film parts, and photo-etched parts.
