The F8F “Bearcat” was the fastest prop-driven aircraft of the time, but it arrived too late to see combat in WWII. It was intended as an interceptor fighter, operating from aircraft carriers. The Navy ordered 2,033 airplanes, but only a few Bearcats were delivered before production was halted because of the end of the war.
Parts come molded in gray. Kit includes decals.
