1/72 F-14 Tomcat & Flight Deck Crew Set

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Fujimi has combined their excellent F-14A kit with their flight deck crew and tractor set and put it all in one box! The only thing missing is a flight deck base. The F-14 is up to Fujimi’s usual high standards, featuring fine recessed panel lines, excellent detail, a full weapons load (and TARPS reconaissance pod!), optional rubber tires or “standard” plastic wheels and tires, photoetched canopy frames and mirrors, very well done pilot figures, two engines, engine stands AND a display plate with engine dataplate decal. Whew! Decals are included for four aircraft, two each from VF-154 “Black Knights” and VF-21 “Freelancers”, all aboard the USS Independence in September of 1991. Now add to this a set of 10 deck crew and pilot figures PLUS a carrier tractor that can be built as a standard tug, a firefighting tractor OR a tug equipped with a jet engine starter, and you’ve got yourself a real bargain for 2600 yen!
