This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Upon opening this new kit from Special Hobby, one may be tempted to wonder what they did with the rest of the kit. The Skyrocket was basically a rocket-propelled, winged bullet, so there isn’t much to it! However, Special Hobby has poured all they could into the box, including resin wheels and photo-etched detail parts for the cockpit, landing gear and wing fences. Decals are given for “144,” the NACA-operated second aircraft, and BuNo. 37974, the Navy-operated third aircraft.
