This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

The F-4 jet fighter was developed as an air defense and air superiority fighter for the U.S. Navy’s aircraft carrier task force. Equipped with two high-power J79 turbojet engines adopted for the F-104 fighter, it boasts ample maneuverability and payload, and is a two-seater fighter in which a radar interceptor officer (RIO) shares the work in order to operate a large anti-aircraft radar and a complex fire control system. It is equipped with a powerful armament of four AIM-7 radar homing missiles, the latest at the time, and four AIM-9 short-range infrared guided missiles, for a total of eight missiles. The first mass-produced model in the F-4 series was the F-4B, and the F-4 was later adopted by the U.S. Air Force; more than 5,000 aircraft were produced, including derivatives.
