This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Mach 2’s XF-92 Dart kit. Designed with data captured from the Germans at the end of WW2, the Dart was a testbed for delta wing design and paved the way for Convair’s F-102 and F-106 interceptors. This is a typical Mach 2 kit, meaning low-pressure injection parts with lots of flash. Still with careful parts cleanup and lots of test fitting and adjusting before committing to glue, one will be rewarded with a kit of an unusual type that is not likely to be available elsewhere in styrene. Perhaps the “not suitable for children under 36 months” is overly optimistic.
