This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

Expanding the capabilities of aeronautics entails significant risks, but also the promise of incredible rewards. One of NASA’s favorite test vehicles for pushing the boundaries of flight is the F/A-18A Hornet. This incredible aircraft has been used for high alpha tests as well as ventures into Active Aeroelastic wings. In both cases, the Hornet has proven that it can complete unprecedented feats of performance including rolls at 70 degree angles of attack and more. Limited edition kit features decals for two NASA test aircraft.
