Saab 37 Viggen

• Description: This kit recreates the commemorative paint scheme from the disbandment of the 10th Air Wing.

The Saab 37 Viggen was developed as a successor to the Saab 35 Draken, with its first flight occurring in 1967. Produced from 1970 to 1990, it was exclusively operated by the Swedish Air Force. The Viggen addressed issues from the Draken, such as poor flight stability and damage to temporary runways from jet exhaust, by incorporating canards (forward wings) into its delta wing design. It also features a unique thrust reverser system, enabling rapid deceleration with a landing roll of about 500 meters.
