This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Years and years ago, Tamiya made 1/35 scale THE scale for military vehicles. They then attempted to repeat their success and make a new standard for aircraft models by releasing a series of 1/100 kits. While a very sensible idea from the standpoint of a nation that, like most of the world, uses the metric system, 1/100 scale just never caught on. However, the kits produced were actually quite good, so Tamiya has seen fit to reissue them!
This kit features recessed panel lines, missiles, a centerline drop tank and optional position landing gear. Markings are for aircraft from Russia, Vietnam and Poland.
