This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Years and years ago, Tamiya made 1/35 scale THE scale for military vehicles. They then attempted to repeat their success and make a new standard for aircraft models by releasing a series of 1/100 kits. While a very sensible idea from the standpoint of a nation that, like most of the world, uses the metric system, 1/100 scale just never caught on. However, the kits produced were actually quite good, so Tamiya has seen fit to reissue them!
This kit of one of the world’s truly legendary designs features recessed panel lines, optional position landing gear and optional armament. Decals are included for a French aircraft (but of course, Monsieur!) and an Israeli aircraft.
