1/100 UH-1 Gunship

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Entry number four in the “Battle Rotor” series is this very impressive UH-1H kit. The kit includes an engine/transmission assembly that mounts to the rear bulkhead in the main cabin. A roof and floor are also included for the cabin, although jump seats are not. The cockpit includes seats with seperate frames and both cyclic and collective sticks. The sliding side doors can be attached in the open or closed positions, and rocket pod and machine-gun armament is included to build a “gunship” as well as a “slick”. Surface detail is fine and recessed. The decals are disappointing, with cartoonish color stars and bars as well as a silver set (?), but scrounge up some spares and you will have a very nice Huey to park next to your 1/100 Aoshima Cobra.
