These mini models represent the aircraft used by many units as the main fighter of the Japanese Army in all theaters throughout the Pacific War. In particular, in the southern invasion operation at the beginning of the war, the support from the air by the Hayabusa of the 64th Flight Squadron led by Lieutenant Colonel Takeo Kato made a great contribution to the operation’s success, and they became famous as the Kato Hayabusa Combat Team.
These kits are easy to assemble, with a minimum number of parts with accurate fit so even beginners can build them with ease.
