This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The F-4 Phantom II was first developed as a fighter aircraft for the U.S> Navy, and was later adopted not only by the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Marine Corps, but by many other countries as well. In Japan, the JASDF began using this aircraft in 1984. Many variants of this aircraft were developed; it has been protecting the skies over Japn for nearly half a century.
This kit recreates the RF-4EJ Phantom II by modifying the F-4EJ into a reconnaissance type. Its nose shape is different from the RF-4E, and it also has the reconnaissance pod mounted under the fuselage; it still has the Phantom’s iconic delta wings. With a reduced number of parts for easy assembly, this kit will be approximately 13cm long when assembled, and decals by Cartograf are included for the 2019 tour markings.
