This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale A-4E/F kit with decals to mark it as a either of two “Adversary” Skyhawks: one from the Naval Fighter Weapons School and one from VFA-127. Both aircraft are up-engined “super Fox” aircraft, and the kit includes the A-4M intake parts needed to accurately model this variant. Interestingly, two variations of the VFA-127 decals are provided, one set in tan and another unused and slightly different set in dark brown – perhaps for a different scheme worn by this airframe at a different period in its life? No mention is made of this in the instructions. See box photo or art for marking details.
