This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit which includes some resin parts.
Limited reissue of the MPM 1/48 scale Ar196A kit with new parts and markings to enable it to also be built as either the V4 or V5 prototypes for the Ar196B, which was fitted with a large central float and small outriggers (like an OS2U Kingfisher or A6M2-N) rather than the twin floats of the AR196A. Also includes markings for two Ar196As, including one attached to the Graf Spee. For marking details please see box image above.
