After literally decades of only one 1/48 Gooney Bird, Trumpeter steps up to the plate with a worthy successor. This kit features a very complete and highly detailed interior, posable control surfaces (including flaps), positionable loading doors with photo-etched boarding ladder, detailed engine assemblies, photo-etched detail parts, metal landing gear struts and rubber tires. Decals are for two USAAF machines in invasion stripes, “Kilroy is here” of the 92nd TCS and “Turf-Sport Special” of the 61st TCS.
