Adapted from the manufacturer:
The Curtiss P-40 Warhawk — a single-engine, single-seat fighter and ground-attack machine made of metal — took its first flight in 1938. As a modified P-36 Hawk, it entered service in record time thanks to a short development period. The USAAF called the aircraft the Warhawk, while the British Commonwealth and Soviet Union called the B and C variants the Tomahawk, and the D and later, the Kitty-hawk.
A part of the Air Power Series, this display model includes a pilot figure, landing gear, and display stand.
