This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Hobby Boss continues their 1/48 scale Hellcat line with thie late-model F6F-3 (cowl with small side bulges, no lower cowl flaps). Features highly-detailed cockpit, engine, engine accessory section and an option for folded wings. Also includes HVAR rockets, but the capability to carry them was apparently only introduced extremely late in -3 production, perhaps better to stick them in the spares box! But you’ll then have to fill the (small) mounting holes in the wings… Decals are for a VF-14 aircraft off the Wasp and a VF-16 aircraft off the Lexington.
