This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Dragon updates their 1/48-scale He162 kit with new wings and decals to produce the “Luft ’46” He162D. This is another “napkinwaffe” design that never made it to prototype status, let alone production. The D model was to be fitted with forward-swept wings and a V-tail, with the apparent goal of changing the flight characteristics of the Volksjaeger from “dodgy” to “inherently unsafe.” Decals are for “White 24” from an unknown unit. All the A model parts are also included, just in case you’d prefer to build this model into an aircraft that actually existed.
