This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Ki-61-I kit with decals and parts to make either a Koh or Otsu model of the Hien. Two schemes for Otsu models are included, both from the 149th Special Attack Squadron based at Ashiya in te summer of 1945: the silver plane with red rudder shown on the box top or an aircraft that has been roughly overpainted in black. Also, a Koh model assigned to the 37th Training Squadron on Taiwan is included on the decal sheet. See box photo or art for marking details.
