Italeri’s newest jet release is this much-anticipated kit of Sweden’s newest fighter, the Gripen (Griffon). This kit features recessed panel lines, a nice cockpit with detailed decals for the instrument panel, a very comprehensive selection of armament (with Sidewinders, Mavericks and anti-ship missiles as well as a drop tank and ECM pod), optional position canopy and radome and decals for three planes: a development aircraft in high-visibility Swedish markings, a lo-vis plane from Sweden’s Wing F7 (shown in the box art) and a Czech JAS-39C.
