This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

From the Hasegawa website:

A late-WWII favorite of the IJN, the N1K1-Jb Shiden (“Violet Lightning”) was developed as a land-based revamp of the Kawanishi N1K1-J Kyofu floatplane. Type 11 models featured a 1,990 hp (1,484 kW) Homare 21 engine, two 7.7 mm Type 97 machine guns and dual 20 mm Type 99 cannons. This limited edition kit features upper main wing parts, cowl parts and machine guns and bombs.

Parts come molded in gray. Kit includes markings for:
