1/48 Kawanishi N1K1-Jb Shiden Otsu

Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Limited reissue of the Hasegawa 1/48 scale Shiden kit with new wing parts and decals to model the N1K1-Jb, aka Shiden Type 11 Otsu. This version featured the four 20mm wing cannon mounted internally, which allowed for small bombs to be carried under the wings. These bombs are included in the kit, as well as new upper wing halves, cowling and inserts for the lower wing to accurately model the Otsu variant. Decals are for three aircraft, “210-149” of the 210th Flying Group at Tokushima, “Ya-1163” of the Yatabe Flying Group at Tsukuba and “Ke-1174” of the Genzan Flying Group at Wonsan, Korea.
