This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

Limited reissue of the Eduard 1/48-scale Hellcat kit with parts and decals to enable you to build any of the major variants: -3, -5, -3N, -5N and -5K. Enough parts are included for two complete aircraft. Resin and photo-etch super-detail parts are also included, plus paint masks and a 1/1-scale replica of the landing and take-off checklist plate as would have been on the instrument panel of a real Hellcat. Markings are given for -3s “5” of Lt. Hollis Hills of VF-32 off the Langley and “12” of Lt. Hamilton McWhorter off the Essex; -3N “10” of VMF(N)-534; -5s “99” of Cdr.
