This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
A very nice kit of the Supermarine Attacker F.1 in 1/48 scale. Can be built with wings folded (you have to cut the outer sections free yourself, but the inner fold parts are included) and with or without the large belly fuel tank. Decals are given for s/n WP493 “J/106” and s/n WA496 “J/101”. The canopy included is the later, unframed type. According to a quick internet search, “WP493” was a Westland Dragonfly HR.5, although WP293 was an Attacker FB.2. S/N WA493, however, was an Attacker F.1 and seems correct for J/106, so perhaps a little decal adjustment is called for?
