The Chengdu J-20 is the first fifth-generation stealth fighter designed by the Chengdu Aerospace Corporation. The aircraft’s reference was the existing fifth-generation fighters: the F-22 Raptor and the F-35 Lightning II from Lockheed-Martin, the PKA-FA from Sukhoi OKB, and its own particular design.
The first prototype, the No.2001, took off on January 11, 2011, and the latest, the No.2011, took off on March 1, 2014.
This kit consists of over 110 parts molded in grey plastic. The completed model measures 284mm long with a 180mm wingspan. Photo-etched parts and decals are included.
