The Albatross is a four-engined reciprocating airliner, seven of which were manufactured by De Havilland between 1938 and 1939. Initially, all seven aircraft were operated as civilian aircraft, but after the outbreak of World War II, all aircraft were requisitioned by the Royal Air Force. The Franklin was flown by BOAC before its requisitioning by the Royal Air Force; the Faraday was delivered first to Imperial Airways and transferred to BOAC in 1940, at which time it too was requisitioned and operated by the Royal Air Force.
This model kit from Valom comes with resin crew seats and photo-etched parts; decals for two versions are included. Order yours today!
