This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The F-5F is an upgraded version of the F-5B double-seat trainer attack aircraft that began to be deployed in the 1960s. It has been redesigned with enhanced engines, an AN/APQ-157 radar for operation in a double-seat configuration, and a fixed-mounted machine gun, which the F-5B was not equipped with.
This injection plastic kit comes with 1 extra tank, GBU-10 laser-guided bombs, Mk.82 bombs, 2 Sidewinder missiles, ECM antenna, and chaff pods that were used by the U.S. military when the aircraft was used as an aggressor aircraft, and 2 types of nose radomes (original and F-20). Two types of nose radome (the original and the shark nose type adopted by the F-20) are included.
Also included are photo-etched parts and 4 types of decals (1 for USMC, 2 for USN and 1 for Swiss Air Force).
