This model kit from Sword is a completely new mold — and it’s also the first 1/72-scale injection-plastic kit of the Photo Crusader! The F8U-1P is a reconnaissance-type aircraft with a squared lower front fuselage and five cameras; only 144 were produced.
The kit comes with a resin ejection seat, painting mask seals, and decals for two versions (U.S. Navy VFP-62, BuNo. 14685 “GA910,” piloted by Commander William Ecker, Key West Navel Air Station, 1962, and U.S. Marine Corps VMCJ-2, BuNo. 145646 “CY 1,” Guantanamo Naval Air Station, 1962).
This model kit is minus-molded for delicate panel lines and excellent detail; the included decals are also of very high quality. Place your order today!
