Kharkov Aircraft’s HAI-1 (KhAI-1) was developed in 1932 by a young 30-year-old engineer named I. G. Neman.It had a very smart fuselage design and the first retractable landing gear for a passenger aircraft.It was the first passenger aircraft with retractable landing gear, and its maximum speed was higher than that of fighter planes of the time.It was used by Aeroflot as a passenger aircraft on regular routes.Inspired by its high performance, a military version was developed, but it never entered production.Neman had his own design bureau, but was imprisoned in 1938.The seats are also included as parts.
