1/72 JASDF F-15J 50th Anniversary 305 Sq Hyakkuri Base

This is a sheet of water-slide or dry transfer decals for marking aircraft models.

A set of decals for what has to be the most stunning paint scheme ever applied to an F-15: the Sakura and Mt. Fuji markings that were painted on a 305th Sq. aircraft to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the JASDF. Other makers have included these markings in their F-15 kits, however the results varied from merely looking block-printed to cartoonish. Thankfully Platz has saved the day! These decals, printed by Cartograf, succeed in capturing the soft airbrushed lines of the prototype art. I doubt anyone, anywhere, could do a better job of this scheme than Platz has done, particularly in this scale. Optional markings are included to represent the original scheme, without Hinomaru on the tops of the wings, or the later version after the Hinomaru were replaced. Personally, I’ll be building the former!
