Tilt rotor aircraft are a completely new concept for the US Marine Corps and one which has quickly caught on. These aircraft are capable of maintaining the speed of conventional turboprop aircraft and then tilting their rotors to descend or ascend like helicopters. This keeps them out of the hot zone longer. Additionally, they are able to move a maximum of 32 troops at a time or up to 20,000 lbs of internal cargo-far more than the Blackhawk.
Parts come molded in gray. Includes clear parts, decals, and parts to build a display stand.
