Description

This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.

The SAIMAN 202 is a two-seater monoplane designed and manufactured by the Italian company Societa Anonima Industrie Meccaniche Aeronautiche Navali (SAIMAN), which first flew in 1938. This aircraft was a small, lightweight, low-wing monoplane made entirely of wood; it had an enclosed cockpit with two people seated in parallel. Due to its modern and sophisticated design, the SAIMAN 202 had excellent cruising performance despite being equipped with a low-power Alfa Romeo 110 engine. Of the 390 202s made, 365 were the 202M military training and liaison aircraft, and the 202M was used in liaison missions on all fronts of the Italian Army. Those that survived the war were sold to private flying clubs, and the aircraft remained in use until the early 1950s.

This model kit from Kora Models includes a transparent resin canopy and decals for one version. Order yours today!
