The Yak-1 is a fighter aircraft developed in the Soviet Union, and was the main fighter of the Red Army Air Corps in the middle of World War II. It was remembered as one of the greatest fighters on the Soviet side because it was active in the early stages of the Soviet counterattack in the battle with Nazi Germany, and it became the founder of the Yak family of fighters after that. The Yak-1B is an aircraft developed to compete with the Bf109G. The engine was replaced with the M-105PF, the cockpit was redesigned, and the shape of the windshield was changed to a “water drop” style.
