Liquifly Fizzrocket

This set is a fun yet straightforward science-based activity to launch a rocket-powered by 2 simple ingredients found in every kitchen. When baking soda and vinegar are mixed, the reaction produces water and carbon dioxide gas. If this mixture is made inside a canister with its cap lid closed, the carbon dioxide gas released builds up until the pressure of all of the contained gas causes the canister’s lid to pop open. The Liquify Fizz Rocket set uses the explosive power from this mixture of bicarbonate soda and vinegar to launch your very own mini rocket into the air. You can experiment with different bicarbonate soda and vinegar mixture quantities to find out which mixture causes the rocket to fly furthest and highest into the air.
