Description

This is a Japanese-language book or magazine about aircraft and/or aircraft modeling. Some Japanese aircraft books, such as the Aero Detail series contain complete English text as well. See the product description below for details.

This book features cute illustrations of aircraft by artist Nob-san. His popular illustration series has been going on for 20 years in the airplane model magazine “Bi-Monthly Scale Aviation” and has finally been made into a book!

Nob-san (Nobuo Shimoda) has been active in the aircraft illustration field for nearly 40 years, and is well-known for his cute and unique deformed style which still captures the characteristics of the aircraft perfectly.

This time, the book is focused on reciprocating machines, such as the first light flyer, as well as popular aircraft such as the Zero, Messerschmitt Bf 109, and so on.

It’s a great book for beginners to the aircraft world and long-time fans alike, and features commentary (in Japanese) on the aircraft along with the illustrations.

Softcover. All text is in Japanese.
